The production facility for Tasco® is located in Pennfield, New Brunswick. This state-of-the-art plant is entirely dedicated to the production of livestock feed products. This processing facility is certified organically by Pro-Cert Organic Systems Ltd. The operation is compliant with the OC/PRO Organic Standard, the Canadian Organic Standard, EEC Regulation 2092/91, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) and the Quebec Organic Reference Standard (CARTV).
Tasco® is an organic product that complies with a range of programs including the OC/PRO Organic Agriculture & Food Standard (OC/PRO), the Canadian Organic Standard (COS), the United States Department of Agriculture National Organic Program (NOP), EEC Reg. 2092/91 (EEC) and the Quebec Organic Reference Standards (CARTV).
The certification is based on the evaluation of an application containing the organic handling plan, the results of an inspection of the operation, ingredient supplier records and such tests or other information deemed essential by the certifying agent. To maintain the certification, an annual update of the organic production/handling plan, an annual inspection and annual evaluation are required.
