INTRODUCTION
A study was conducted at the Colorado Quality Research, Inc. in Colorado, USA to determine the potential of Tasco^® to improve productivity and growth performance of turkeys. The birds were housed in an ambient temperature with cooling fans to help alleviate high temperatures.

RESULTS
During the finishing period, higher weight gains occurred in turkeys fed the ration with Tasco^® compared to turkeys fed the control ration.


CONCLUSION
Tasco^® fed turkeys had improved growth rates performance. These potential improvements directly influence the cost of production and translate into increased profits (or lower losses), particularly under heat stress conditions. These results justify larger scale research trials to determine the most efficacious use of Tasco^® in commercial turkey production.
