INTRODUCTION
A University trial was conducted at Middle Tennessee State to determine the effect of Free-Choice Mineral containing Tasco^® on cow health. One of the parameters monitored was the body condition in both the treatment and control group.

RESULTS
Body condition scores were not significantly different at the beginning of the trial, or during the next two weigh periods in June and July. However, by August, cows fed Tasco^® had higher Body Condition Scores than cows in the control group.

CONCLUSION
The results indicate that Tasco^® is beneficial as a supplement for beef cows and can improve body condition even under summer heat stress conditions.
